testimonials

What our customers and partners say about us.

From law enforcement to local traders, our members share how UKPAC helps them tackle crime and protect their communities.

Alison Hernandez, Police and Crime Commissioner

OPCC - Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly

“All traders are key to thriving towns and city centres, so we must do our utmost to make Devon and Cornwall a safe place to do business. That’s why I have made theft a priority for policing in my new Police and Crime Plan, tackling theft and shoplifting on our high streets and focusing on repeat crimes, repeat offenders, and repeat victims. I am delighted to invest in UKPAC’s system which helps businesses to play their part by reporting crime every single time, helping the police to build a picture, to identify the worst offenders more easily, and to ensure criminals are brought to justice."

Chief Inspector Marcus Cator

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary

“Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary’s approach to targeting retail crime is one of collaboration and sharing of information, which is how we achieve our best results. With support from our partners and those working within our retail communities, we take a proactive approach to the force’s commitment to preventing crime and protecting victims through our relentless pursuit of criminals. With the support of UKPAC and their digital platform, SentrySIS, we have been able to bring our focus towards the most prolific offenders who are repeatedly targeting businesses. The evidence developed within the platform by users has enabled police officers to reduce the amount of time spent trying to secure evidence when victims are busy and not always available to meet an officer, or do not have immediate access to their CCTV to support the investigation. The ‘ready to go’ evidence packs have empowered officers to take positive and timely action to arrest and secure charges in a smart and efficient way. This has also enabled the police to present strong cases to the CPS and secure outcomes for victims in court. Collaboration and information sharing works, and UKPAC and SentrySis have been a tremendous support in our force’s approach to making communities safe for everyone.”

Councillor B Fernandes, Chair Community & Place Committee

Taunton Town Council

“Many crimes have gone unreported due to the significant time and resources required for retailers to report incidents and submit evidence. UKPAC changes this by providing businesses with an easy way to report crimes and supplying police with the intelligence and evidence needed to apprehend criminals. Retailers affected by criminal activities understand this challenge well. Taunton Town Council endorse this technology highlighting our commitment to protecting businesses and addressing retail crime.”

David Sidwick, Police and Crime Commissioner

OPCC - Dorset

“It was experiencing a shoplifting incident first-hand in my local supermarket that was one of the reasons I wanted to stand for PCC. Since then, I have spoken to various business owners across Dorset who have told me how serious and damaging incidents of shoplifting can be, especially when it comes to staff being abused or attacked. It is only by working together and sharing intelligence that we can truly start to tackle these crimes. UKPAC enables local businesses that are not part of the BIDs to link in with the intelligence network and have better lines of communication with Dorset Police. By working together, we can deal with offenders, reduce crime and work to make Dorset the Safest County.”

Donna Jones, Police and Crime Commissioner

OPCC - Hampshire & Isle of Wight

"Retailers that have been victims of criminality will know the valuable time and resource it takes to report and submit evidence. Crimes have gone underreported as result. UKPAC changes that by giving businesses an easy way to report crime and providing police with the intelligence and evidence they need to stop criminals in their tracks. My investment in this technology reinforces my commitment to protecting businesses and tackling retail crime."
